Tracking Systems

1-Single Axis Trackers

The Single-Axis tracking system is designed to achieve up to a 24% higher production in the commercial solar market. The lower costs of this technology enable customers to achieve a better return-on-investment.

The unique low-profile, high-density design of the tracking systems responds to several key concerns for commercial and utility-scale developers in the solar industry. The low-profile engineering of the system resolves the issue of wind and risk of shade given its compact architecture. The shallow lightweight structure makes for an easier installation both on rooftop and ground-mount applications. Tracking system provides a high-density solution, requiring less land (similar to fixed systems) in comparison to other tracking systems. The simplicity of design increases reliability.

The economic advantages of the system include:

  1. higher production;
  2. Less land required.
  3. lower production cost of energy;
  4. minimized operations/maintenance costs, and;
  5. higher return-on-investment

2-Dual Axis Trackers – Deger Trackers

Solar panels are mounted on a Deger ground-mounted tracking device, which follows the sun to produce maximum energy production per day. The Deger dual axis trackers have the capability of approximately 40% greater efficiency than a fixed or roof mount system.

The Deger trackers provide up to 40% higher energy production than fixed installations, ensuring an increase return-on-investment. Given these systems are ground-mounted, no building permit is required.

3-Fixed Systems

Solar panels are mounted on a frame, which sits on concrete blocks or concrete pillars on the ground.

With minimal maintenance required and the reduced cost in comparison to tracking systems, ground mounted fixed systems are attractive to property owners with available land.
